Far away, somewhere among the boundless plains of the Middle Asia, there is the Great Desert. It strikes with awe and grisly. And even you're flying at a great height over it, your heart thrills with deep excitement and admiration. You see a road, looping among the hills over the thirsty ground. Covered by poor greenery. And suddenly you see it ends, and there is no further way, only sands and gloomy rocks sticking out of the ground here and there. You cannot found any living being in that land, except of poisonous snakes and pestilent spiders. And you want to run like a lamplighter away from this parched by baking sun, wild, ominous place. What the Great Desert hides in its bosom, against whom it guards its heart?

And if you will not afraid and continue the travel, you can get a marvellous place: an oasis in the very centre of the desert. That's just another world; here, where splatters unbelievably bright, crystal clear water, where twitter outlandishly coloured birds, here, in the shadow of grand trees, gracefully declining their branches to the water, you can forget everything else, and only this world, beautiful beyond belief, will be real. Only this marvellous country will remain…

Such a beginning of my relation about the album «Oasis» by Yashu is not occasional. That's music of another world, where beauty and harmony are natural, where there's no place for ugly, where love, freedom and creativity are the real values. And in fact that world is the only real world. And Yashu's divine flute leads us towards that beautiful, sacred place.

«Oasis» is her second album, released by the studio "Nazca Music". Some of compositions had been created newly, and some - 20 years ago, in the presence of Osho. Yashu had lived for a long time in India, in Osho Commune. She collaborated with the beautiful musicians from the whole world, who gathered there. Yashu played at the time of the satsangs (meetings with the Master) and meditations. And presence of the Master can be apparently felt in her music. His universe opens in front of you, and you enter there, and you are filled with love, beauty, joy, they are just deluging you, and nothing remains - only that love and delight in the existence… That's the main quality of the music of Yashu. So much love and bliss!

Here West meets East, not to be ever departed. I feel that «Oasis» is an Eastern music absorbed and performed by Western people. And that makes it very special and distinct.

The perfect artists, friends of Yashu took part in creation of the album: Somesh - guitar, keyboards, Harida - percussion, and Moksha - bass, guitar and guimbri (traditional Moroccan bass).

There are not only the peaceful meditative compositions at the «Oasis». There's also the sufi «Gap in Marrakesh», full of passion and fire. The Arabian rhythms weave with Spanish flamenco. But whatever style it is, in all the melodies of the album there is love and fondness. And there is feeling of unlimited freedom of creativity, freedom of human spirit.

And that presence is such that one immediately falls in love with that divine music - or rejects it forever. Yes, just so, because it's dangerous for an evil heart!

Blessed «Oasis» by Yashu! A delicate flavour of poetry, a superior aesthetics. Listening to this music, you want to be present in Eternity with those immeasurably beautiful beings! Just to be with them, to celebrate, to create infinitely with them...
