PRIMA VISTA
“Frozen Dreams” is the album created by two first class artists - Svend Undseth (composer/wind instruments) and Gunnar Berg Nielsen (composer/percussion). It is the second CD in the duo’s Prima Vista discography. The artists’ inspiration originates from the arctic landscapes of Norway which is their homeland. It is entirely felt in the music of the album “Frozen Dreams”. It is very fluent and harmonious. You can be carried into a wondering distant land and beautiful images unfold before your eyes. You observe snowfields and they sparkle in the rays of the low hung midnight sun. You can turn round and see a snow-covered forest where big trees rush to the sky. You may notice not tall cliffy mountains and an endless frozen sea in the distance. The music of “Frozen Dreams” is full of tenderness and beauty. It is weightless and refined. The exquisite taste is felt in every note of this album. One wants to mention the perfect sounding of “Frozen Dreams”. This project is well composed and masterfully performed. Ice and the flame meet together in the album “Frozen Dreams”. It is a bright release for the listener’s pleasure and relaxation.
