Music of Harmony. Music which praises the wonderful beauty of this small
planet. It contains the morning freshness of awakening wood, and evening
peacefulness of blueish-red sky. This music contains a great number of incredible
colors, smallest hues and most fantastic sounds. Beauty of this world, which
was created for joy and harmony, is in this music. This world was left undesired
in the fuss of big cities.
Music by Tim Mac Brian invites us to remember this world and look at
it again with a pure, not turbid sight. And this world is so beautiful!
Tim Mac Brian weaves a lot of nature sounds in the cloth of his music,
which create a unique, natural surrounding. All this is combined with a very
hearty music. This music contains softness and tenderness. It calls us to
distract our attention from our daily activities and to be with it. And this
not just a harmonic music - it contains individuality. In my view the sounding
of the "Entre Ciel et Terre" ("Between the Heaven and the Earth") has something
in common with the music of late Christopher Franke, where an atmospheric
sounding combines with beautiful and very romantic melodies.
Being performed on various keyboards, the music by Tim Mac Brian is
very well compositionally built. The "roots" of the good classical school
is very well felt in it. And its lightness does not lift us up from the ground:
music of Tim Mac Brian is staying on a good basis, it comes from our world.
The music invites us to have a walk under this sky, being painted with incredible
colors, on this beautiful, fragrant garden, which name is Earth. This is
a wonderful garden, which it could be and must be!
While listening to this music the following words came to mind: "Heal
this World!"
