In general, I could call Lawrence Lougheed a master of nuances. His electronic music is filled with numerous half-tones. The artist has the capacity to quickly change the moods of his tunes. The compositions of “Elysium Solace” are pierced by the depth of emotional experiences. This is the music of a person who knows what pain and happiness are. It is impossible to create such profound melodies without experiencing sufferings and disappointments.

The music of “Elysium Solace” is full of the solitude and the knowledge that this world is a desert. But at the same time the versatile compositions of Lawrence Lougheed bring consolation and hope for the better. He is a great romanticist indeed!
