I could name this music as ambient but it has new age melodic patterns and even ethnic tunes. Besides, a certain minimalism is inherent in the compositions of Paul Kelly. And all of them are masterfully arranged and performed. As a result we can enjoy a really spectacular album “Evolution In Film”.

Paul Kelly combines a traditional approach with various sound experiments. His compositions are very expressive and powerful. Each of them has its own unique “face” and tells a particular story.

The hour flies by like several minutes when you listen to “Evolution In Film”. This is the music for personal perception when nothing draws you away and one can hear attentively all nuances of the full of surprises album. And then you undoubtedly want to listen to “Evolution In Film” time and again.

This album is an excellent example of visual music. Remember the name Paul Kelly. His project “Evolution In Film” was one of the most bright discoveries for me in recent time.
