This music is full of tenderness. The piano of Heidi Anne Breyer carries away all your anxieties and nervousness. It easily soothes your soul and gives you a long awaited rest.  Your mind begins to achieve a tranquil and peaceful state.

Heidi’s piano music contains an evident feminine nature. It consoles your heart and enchants you with its genuine sincerity. At the same time the music of Heidi is very clear. Her piano speaks a very understandable and sometimes even minimalistic language. But it always is deeply emotional.

A whole constellation of outstanding musicians help Heidi record her album “Another Place and Time…” Cellist Eugene Friesen, vocalist Noah Wilding, Charlie Bisharat on violin, Jeff Oster on flugelhorn, Jill Haley on English horn and Will Ackerman and David Cullen on guitar with their delicate touches create inimitable, very light and a meditative atmosphere of this release. It remains for me to add that the album “Another Place and Time…” was recorded and mastered at Will Ackerman’s Imaginary Road Studios by famous sound engineer Corin Nelsen and produced by none other than Will Ackerman.

All compositions of “Another Place and Time...” are like beautiful pictures and this is not by accident because they were inspired by paintings of Heidi’s partner American/Russian realist Alexander Volkov. Each tune of her album is full of beauty and appreciation to the present moment of life. It makes the album “Another Place and Time…” a precious sample of true art.
