This original music is woven of the pulsing rhythms of trans-ethnical
melodies with covering ambient noises. Many samples are used in it, and they
are so organically interwined with the "cloth" of the works of Alain Eskinasi,
that one just can not completely understand, where here are living sounds,
and where are the sounds synthesized by the artist himself. Only in the opening
composition "Sweet Thing" you understand that you hear a living Indian flute.
Its hypnotically-charming sounds rush into the room, penetrating in the depths
of consciousness and making you realize something incredibly ancient and
beautiful. This is Kailash, which helps listeners to feel the magic of Indian
music. "2001" is a third project by "Brainscapes", created by an outstanding
Dutch composer, arranger, keyboardist, guitarist and percussionist Alain
Eskinasi. With that, his new is strongly different from the two preceding
ones, "Chacradancer" ? "Brainscapes". Famous musician, a participant of the
"3rd Force" group wanted to go aside from the music for healing and meditation,
and create something more dynamic, suitable for night clubs and discos. And
he succeeded completely! Dynamic, pulsing music of the "2001" is ideal for
parties with dancing. But it is not only music for discos. It is deep, and
the ancient cultures of East and West are at present there. Indian melodies,
Indian singing, Near-East rhythms, mysteriously-buzzing sounds of the Australian
didgeridoo flutes and a lot of sounds of the ancient ethnical melodies are
united with European dancing music, creating a new type of the synthetic
multicultural music, which is much more than just some particular genre.
This music is like clouds, which are sweeping over various places of our
planet, being snow-white as sails on the blue sky, or becoming dark and pouring
with rain, or forming whimsical-fairy-tale images in the blowing of the wind.
Intelligence and European finesse are at present in the melodies of Alain
Eskinasi. With this, his music is very living and flowing. To the point,
Alain likes to give concerts, scooping inspiration in the live performances.
In his 'luggage' are tours with "Soto Koto Band" and "Professor Trance &
the Energizers". Alain Eskinasi collaborates with many interesting musicians,
among which are DJ Fausto from Amsterdam and duet "Yulara" from Berlin, and
the artist is full with a lot of interesting ideas. In his nearest plans
is a creation of a new album of "3rd Force" together with William Aura and
Craig Dobbin. And now we can enjoy his solo project.
Listen to the "2001", and you will understand, how the European
trans-dancing music has evolved. Having imbibed the melodies of various cultures,
this music became something more than music for the body, impelling mind
to work, and helping to release the emotions.
