In order to describe a pain, an anger and a hatred
You’ll find a lot of words
How many words you need to show the love?...

What can be said about this Richard Bone’s album? May be that the
“Saiyuji” is a completion of the trilogy which was started with
“Disorient” and “The Reality Temples” albums? And this
new album is congenial with preceding ones? Or, may be, the more important
thing is that for the first time we have the possibility to see Richard
Bone’s experiments with video? On “Saiyuji” one can find two
ambient videos: “By Any Other Name” and “Improbable Earth”.
Or, may be, the most important thing is that we can sense Richard Bone’s
peculiar manner again? These unique sounds touching the soul, a very extensional,
wrapping sound bewitch the senses from the very first moment.
All aforesaid thoughts are true but still it is not likely to be the
main thing. Richard Bone’s music immerses you in a quite peculiar
atmosphere. While listening to his music you sense the futility and illusiveness
of your urges. And you realize more distinctly the whole of falsity in the
surrounding world of people, the world which imposes false aims on you and
makes you dependent more and more stronger on the material things. When the
words about love and duty mean quite a real benefit for somebody. And other
peoples’ expectations imply that you should refuse to be yourself. You
have permanently to prove something, and Lord forbid to see the reverse side
of this world because once peeping in behind the shield you’ll see something
quite different. The outside things appear before you on another, unattractive
side where people try to look better than they are in reality, try to seem
those that they are not in fact. It is more easier to live somebody else’s
life than one’s own life. And this world is miserable and ridiculous.
And there is so much falsity in it…
Richard Bone’s music enables to see the falsity of the human world,
it returns you from the world of illusions to the real world. And this real
world turns out to be a very concrete one. A mosquito flying round you does
not take care of its image, it just wants to eat. And a flower blossoms out
in the morning not because that somebody’s waiting for this. And when
the time is up it dies. And the sun warms you with its rays not by the reason
that it has to do it. The nature is free of lie, the whole of it is produced
by people and supported by them because the lie originates from the
fear...
Richard Bone’s music helps to peep into this abyss of fear, to
look straight at it. Every person’s hell is individual. You may escape
of yourself infinitely, finding out different diseases and good excuses for
yourself. If I do not want to see something hence it does not exist!…
And a person, carrying more and more heavier burdened spirit advances to
his death in order to recommence his endless game later on…
There is an emptiness between sounds in Richard Bone’s music. And
you find yourself in one and the same reality with him, and you do not want
to leave it so much!
While listening to the surprising music of the “Saiyuji” you
realize that Richard Bone is constantly astir, and the completion of this
trilogy gives birth to something quite new. What is waiting for us after
a forthcoming turning point?...
