The world, which is visible and invisible. The outer
world and the inner one. The world that can be seen or safely hidden deep
inside from a stranger's glance. The inward world of mind in which so much
mysterious and interesting is kept. Richard Bone's music immerses a listener
into the inward world of his mind, it contributes to study the mind and discover
unknown realities in it.
This album bears exactly the name of " Alternate
Realities" . Seven compositions which had never been issued before plus new
versions of two compositions " Waters of Assiyah" and " Ariel Dane & the
Seraphim Swing" , which were the part of the prior " Ascensionism" album, are
included into it.
Richard Bone is quite habitual and absolutely
novel again. His music is perfect, a tremendous sound having well defined
finest nuances which makes you just relax and with a sinking heart keep up
with the conversions of ever sudden musical narration by Richard Bone. And
if compared with a writer, Richard Bone can be called a master of detective
genre as far as his tunes are full of mystique and abruptness. Mathematical
exactness, lucidity of mind and freedom of expression go well together in
it. This music is not programmed, it is spontaneous and so natural, as the
wind can be natural, which is scarcely swaying crowns of trees in an autumn
still woods.
This music makes you lost in thoughts, it
guides you to your inner, private world where you can stay alone with yourself
and comprehend your inmost feelings and desires. No need for you to explain
or prove anything to anybody, you are just drifting on these swaying waves
to the boundless ocean the name of which is your mind...
