In a stream of wind, of whirling whiffs,
In the space penetrated by cold,
Among darkness and silence,
There is a song of hope from loving heart...
To what this beautiful synthesizer music of the Belgian composer and
performer Luc Baiwir can be compared? There is rampage of powerful elements
in his melodies, there is wildness and passion, and there is unearthly flight
and earthly dreams. A lot of fire is in this music, it invigorates and provokes
your fantasy. The polyphonic synthesizer melodies of Luc Baiwir are the
expression of his individuality.
His music is colorful, harmonic and very visual. It is no wander that
the compositions of Luc Baiwir often had been used in cinema and TV, and
his grandiose concerts, replete with the modern light effects, have been
seen by a huge amount of people, both in Belgium and abroad.
The CD presents the records of live concerts by Luc Baiwir, performed
in various years. The musician is phenomenally popular in the small Belgium:
only four his concerts in this country visited more than 36000 spectators.
He a laureate of many prizes, he created soundtracks for various films. Press
calls him the «master of the megaconcert», the «magician at
the synthesizer» and even «the composer of the sea». And sea
is an old and great passion of the Belgian performer. Luc Baiwir is known
by his actions to protest the sea inhabitants: he launched a campaign against
the massacre of the dolphins at the Feroe Islands (Denmark).
The album " Live" is a perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the
work of Luc Baiwir. There are no semitones in this music, it is solid and
frank. In his music there is a strongly marked manhood. His music is the
bright splashes of the overflowing emotions. You cannot sleep to Luc Baiwir's
music. It calls up to wake up and act. It is music for the lovers in passion.
It is for those who want to live a total life.
With the album " Live" I have found for myself a very interesting author
and performer Luc Baiwir. His compositions are a hymn for the coming century,
a shining brilliant of New Age music. The new century doesn't seem dark with
the music of Luc Baiwir. With its help we can see a dramatic and hopeful
age of reborn of the civilization lost in its own nightmares.
Oh, how long we shall stay here?
To which worlds we are going to fly,
My Love,
Shall we visit this world ever more?
