A misty distant land
Amongst the caps of hoary hills
Is hidden safely from the foreign eyes…

The music of the " Evermind" album conjures up our imagination. From its first chords you start on a wonderful journey. You are en route to a distant country lost somewhere amongst high hills. A divine ethereal voice (composition " Acrus" ) invites you to this fairy land. And you lifted by weightless wings are flying to the uncertainty. The sky around you is pieced by spears of lightnings, the land and the sky join into a single whole under a shroud of the rain, but nothing can prevent you from your journey. Deep in your heart you are sure that all difficulties will be overcome (composition " Into the Twilight" ) and the mysterious land will open up before your eyes. But your way is fraught with danger. Blazes of nightmares light up the black sky (" Shadowlands" ) and echoes of bygone hopes vibrate in air flows. But the hope for a happy end of the journey grows stronger, the sun is already rising (" Break of Dawn" ). And here your friends meet you. Their white attires are flapping in the wind, the moon is lighting up their divine exquisite features, the wings are fluttering on their backs. They are perfect. Who are they? Maybe, they are magical elves who inhabit the lost land (composition " Innocence" ). And here appears the mysterious land hidden with a green cover of an eternal forest (" Satori" ). Before your eyes there are fantastical towns in which the holiday never ends (" Barefoot" ) and parti-colored fields through which you want to ramble alone (composition " Reverie" ). And you want so much to get lost in this hospitable country (" Lost" ) and never return to your world full of madness. The reminiscences of the real world feel your heart with anxiety. But no need to take care of the future, you are still in the fairy country, you observe dark-blue, placid lakes and loquacious clear water streams (" Fable" ). But it is time to return home. You are coming back full of energy and resolve to live and create (" Imaginatio" ). And all of a sudden in your room you sense the healing air of the country of friends. And Heaven knows where from comes the fresh wind which will blow your face with its bracing stream…

" Evermind" is the third closing part of the " dragonfly trilogy" created by an inspired composer Oystein Ramfjord who works under the pseudonym Amethystium. Oystein Ramfjord is an outstanding melody-maker. His music ought to be listened very attentively. But once you are plunged in it you will not like to return from this exciting musical journey till final chords of the " Evermind" album. The reason for this is the depth contained in Oystein Ramfjord's music. It includes the austerity of classics and the liberty of creative search. The " Evermind" is an alligation of styles which forms the unique music of Oystein Ramfjord. Contemporaneity and Gothic chorals, exactness of idea expression and elitism - all this is present in it.

" Evermind" is a specimen of a practically perfect new age music.
